"Castanets: The Study of Musical Rhythm. 7". Emma Maleras.

The aim of this study manual is intended for two types of students: Group "A": Students who just want to practice the castanets to supplement his studies, to improve clarity and lightness of fingers and / or rhythmic reading. Can be part of this group those students who, for the therapeutic properties of the castanets, want to regain mobility of his fingers, it lost by injury or by an excessive period of rest. Group "B": Students whose main goal is the mastery of the instrument.

The first part is focused on the preparation of the fingers, before undertaking the daily study, and consists of three groups of works "chopped carretilla" (eighth notes and
sixteenth notes) and "black notes" grouped by difficulty.

The second part includes the introduction of a new touch, "the Trine", which can be practiced in some of the works in the concert repertoire containing. These works contain many of the touches and content covered in previous books. Are presented on the CD with three speeds and have not appeared in any of the previous six volumes. With them the intermediate stage of these studies conclude, while the higher grades start preparing.
