Nace en Sevilla en los años 80 fundada por los maestros artesanos José y Juan Vela Hernández, en contacto con grandes profesionales de la danza y concertistas, que son luz y guía de la constante renovación de la castañuela, tanto en diseño como en sonido y materiales utilizados, evolucionan en la construcción siempre.


Reconocidos y valorados por los grandes profesionales. Grandes maestros del flamenco y la danza como Antonio El Bailarín, María Rosa, Marienma, Pilar de Oro y Alfredo Gil, Enrique el cojo, Realito, Jose Antonio, Aida Gómez, Matilde Coral y el gran concertista de Castañuelas Jose de Udaeta han paseado por el mundo castañuelas del Sur.


En la actualidad, construyen castañuelas, entre otros, al Ballet Nacional de España, al bailarín Miguel Ángel Berna , a las concertistas Consol Grau, Tereas Láiz y Mar Bezana, y a las principales escuelas de danza.
